Backup Log File
Our backup software offers you an excellent opportunity for monitoring data backup activities. All diagnostics messages (errors, warnings), jobs startings (endings) are registered in a single backup log file (d_back.log). It is a simple text file - so it can be viewed either by any text viewer or by the backup manager:
Backup log may be very useful for you, especially if you're using unattended backing up. For example if automated data backup failed (for any reasons) then all diagnostics messages will be written to the backup log inevitably and you can always check it at any time.
Another feature will be interesting to the users who can't examine backup log regularly. Our program can notify your by e-Mail about the result of any backup job automatically. All you need to do is to specify destination e-Mail address and setup alert condition in your backup profile. You can choose the most suitable alert type according to your desire - D_back can notify you either about errors only, or about all startups, and other diagnostic messages simultaneously.
